it always hurts, even after a long time... if u've ever loved someone, they are forever a part of you...

It can, especially if you haven't worked through the issue emotionally and gotten closure with regard to the relationship. Some people are "done" when they break up with someone and pain is minimal (esp depending on circumstances) others go into a depression when they see their ex with someone else, as if it's a personal attack on them that their former partner moved on.

Regardless of how you feel about it, the relationship is over and your ex has every right to move on, and should (just as you should) so it's something you need to accept and be okay with.

I broke up with my ex, and a few weeks later he's going out with another girl! I was of course hurt at first that he moved on so quickly, but that's just natural sweetie. Even if you break up with a guy those feelings don't all go away all at once.

I am very glad to see my ex with someone else and actually very happy that they appear happy together. When we were together there was a lot of issues and fighting and so we weren't obviously meant to be together. But she has found another as have I and we often attend celebrations together and all are friendly towards each other. We have a 33 year old son and two granddaughters so that is why we are together often. It's actually kind of funny to see my ex wife and current wife hugging each other when they are saying hi to one and other. But it is very good for all involved to see that type of mature behaviour rather then isolating each other.

yes it does hurt....but depends on the person if he/she still has feelings for their ex. but if they know they're truly not meant to be together and they still love their ex or something they would want them to be happy! :]
....was that too complicated?? lol

it depends on how long you have been with the guy. I've been with my guy for almost 7 months and I hurts me just thinking about it.

When it is over, it is over.

If there was really true love before, you should be happy that he/she has moved on and found someone else that makes him/her happy.
