I have heard that too. my Dr. told me never to cross my legs as that causes vein problems.

When your top leg gets numb, it is not getting proper blood supply, so it makes sense.

Try crossing them at the ankle with your knees together.

It is not good for your legs, simple as that. I actually always sit with one leg (usually my right) completely folded under me and I'm starting to have knee problems. I'm only 30.

Plus etiquette states that you're supposed to cross your legs at the ankle and with your legs angled off to the side, so people can't see up your skirt.

It is bad if you think it is bad. I have been crossing my legs for many years and am nearly 60. I do have health problems but don't think that they are related to the leg crossing.

However, in Reiki I was told not to cross legs while consciously receiving or giving Reiki.

yeah its bad if you cross at the knees and youll get ugly veins and cellulite as you get older. try to get in the habit of crossing them at the ankles and then tucking them a bit under your chair. its old-fashioned classy and you'll look really graceful and good
