She said she'd go with you, right?
Grab the opportunity and make her forget about the ex! d0nt give just because she still has some feelings for him! Show her a good time and give yourself the chance to try and win her heart!
Good luck!

I think you should plan on taking her to homecoming and having a great time. Don't worry about the ex-boyfriend. I'm sure there's a good reason why he's the "ex". Have fun!

Okay, I broke up with my now-ex-boyfriend months ago, and I still kinda have feelings for him. Isn't that crazy? Yes, but it happens to everyone. Those feelings don't always go away, but it doesn't always mean what you're thinking. She obviously said yes to your request for a reason! Take her to homecoming and have a good time with her!

You are not alone, and your situation happens every day to millions of guys.
Rule #1 - Never take advice from women regarding dating. (Trust an old battleax player who did it all)
Rule #2 - Always make yourself unavailable to this girl. Following her around, smiling at her to often, and answering the phone every time she calls will land you in the "friend zone." Girls don't respect nice guys. Period.
Rule #3 - Ignore what her friend says, and cool your feelings for this girl. Start hitting and flirting with other girls to boost your confidence. Girls like guys who have 3 other women on the go. If she sees you talking, flirting, and walking in the halls with other girls she'll want you 5000% more.
Girls want what they CAN'T have. Period. They need to look up to guys they date. (A long evolutionary thing about women needing to feel safe around guys they're intimate with.)
If she confronts you about flirting with other girls, tell here its nonsense and they're just friends. Then quickly change the subject and tell you her you're late for XYZ. Making yourself unavailable on an ongoing basis is the fastest way to turn girls into putty.
When the prom comes, and you've convinced yourself other girls like you - she'll pick up on it and fall into your hands.
You can do it, now start pretending you like other girls.

Okay look at it this way.
Every time ANYONE breaks up both people are hurt
And the feelings dont just dissapear right away
They stay for a while.
So obviously she still has some feelings for him.
Dont worry about it.
Just have fun with her at homecoming!
Make memories.
Thats what I do. :)

So maybe she still like her ex. But hey, she is at least willing to go out with you so just take it one step at a time and see if things could continue further.

Sometimes girls friends can be teling the truth.Girls talk to their friends alot. But alot of time the girl talks to her friend and says something and takes it back in her mind but forgets to tell the friend because she thinks she just automaticlly knows.Talk to this girl yourself if she doesn't like you then let her be with her ex its her loss. And if she denies it don't rat out her friend.
does that make sense
