A friend of mine never really does to well with women (although he is straight, not bad looking, has money etc.) and I think that the reason for this is that he appears to be gay on the surface. Kinda like a metro sexual type of thing. He is way thin (nothing bad about that perse) is a complete neat freak, does not like sports, beer and all of the "traditional" "manly" things. I think a lot of women are passing him by becuase they assume that he is gay!

I would like to see him find a nice woman some day and I don't think he is going to because women are thinking he is gay!

David if you are a true friend then you would explain exactly what you have stated here. Perhaps you could give him some advice on how to be more masculine or perhaps he may accept what you have to say but let you know that he is quite comfortable being who he is. Either way you've done what a friend would do. And besides he just might surprise you someday and find a woman that will knock your socks off.

Well you could jokingly say "Maybe chicks think you're gay!"

But honestly I think you should let him be. That's the way he is, his style and he likes being unique. He'll meet a girl who likes him for who he is - not who everyone thinks he should be.

It's refreshing to meet a guy who's not into all the stereotypical guy stuff.

Help him buff up. Tell him he looks gay.
