well,
I don't get a clue on why people talk about this rebirth or reincarnation etc..
Firstly, why do a soul have to born as a physical entity here?
Secondly, why should we prove ourselves here & in what way is it justified?
Thirdly, why do god have to test all of us?

What is birth & what is death and is the count of the souls in this universe is finite or infinite ?

And you put all the above questions to any religious head on this planet and I bet you are not going to get the answer. Coz everything is show and only its you who will know it once you experience it.

Everything is real and everything is unreal. Going by the theory of relativity proposed by the great thinker Eienstien, everything varies. When you see a truck going at 80 MPH you feel a jitter as you stand by the highway but the same truck when you overtake in your car at 90 MPH you feel it the other way. So what I'm trying to put in here is it depends on the state of mind of the person. something which is good to me is bad to you and something which is pleasent smell for you may turn me away.

So my friend, in this universe nothing is stable and eternal except for the universe itself. Now if you give yourself some thinking space you'll be confused at the complexity.

You can look into yourself and feel that you were, are, and will remain always in some form or the other.

We don't remember our past lives, is a different matter altogether. We don't even remember so many things that happenned just a minute ago!

We will remain, but very rarely in a human body. Our present is important, and not what will happen next.

Atheists also say the same thing? Yes, but they say this, to sidetrack the real issue. I say this, to bring the issue forth.

At least now I know, that I am better than an atheist!! No offence intended.

Newtons 3rd law states that every action has a reaction. Believing in rebirth is good for us whether we believe it or not. It will help us to live now in this world a good life. Every moment we see so many atrocities done by human against fellow humans. We see the man who murdered one life as well as a man like saddam hussein who killed thousands of lives also hanged only once to death. A normal human will not accept this as justice. Believing in rebirth will tell us that justice will prevail at a later time. When there will be time limit at all, justice will prevail for all.

Yes, every soul has to take rebirth once it has taken birth. There are several laws about rebirth from which i'd like to mention few:
- there is a fixed number of births (rebirths) for each soul according to soul's karma.
- the minimul number of births for a human soul is once in a cycle and there is an infinite number of cycles (a cycle means one complete transit from Sat Yug to Kali Yug)
- a human soul only takes human births just like from an apple seed only apple tree may grow.
- once a soul has taken birth even once in a cycle - he will have to take same birth every cycle in the same way
- there is a time when all souls return to the soul world (also known as Nirvana or MulVatan or Paramdham or MuktiDham...). However at their particular time all souls have to take birth again like they did in the previous cycle as cycles repeat identically....:)

So Namaste Brother, Welcome and Enjoy....:)

The whole knowledge about the cycle of births and rebirths is so wonderful and maybe more entertaining than ..... anything...:)

Best Regards....:)

Yes rebirth occurs for everyone, this is a divine law. I recommend you to read 'Many Lives Many Masters' by Dr.Brian Weiss and draw your own conclusions.

ur zygote was formed from 23 chromosomes from the sperm of ur father and 23 chromosomes from the egg of ur mother. These chromosomes contained the genetic code passed on from several thousand generations from ur paternal and maternal ancestors. The zygote immediately started de-codification of the genetoc code, appropriate cells started multiplying and in 36 wks u were physically born. Thus the genetic code has taken several births and rebirths in the past. ur going to pass on this genetic code to the next generations. Thus the genetic code is going to be reborn again for several future generations....Gee Waman

I would like to briefly tell the theory of "Karma"( acts) which is a fundamental theory of almost all religions germinated from India. Most emphatic presentation of this theory is in Gita.
In brief...
Continuity of karma (& hence birth) has to be true. i.e. the result of an action is unavoidable. In simple words, if u forward ur right leg while walking, the next has to be the left one. Yet another example.. if u drink water, your thirst has to quench.
Now, the action gives a result & if the time for result is longer than life span, it has to result in re-birth.

I am alive right now

whether or not I have a 'rebirth' physically is not provable save I die

but after life changing events, one can say they are 'reborn' after nearly dying and have a new lease on life

Questions like these have no verifiable answers, my friend. And when you cannot have logic & facts to base answers by, you goto the realm of faith & beliefs. And faith & beliefs are different across people.

If you ask my opinion, I'd say - no one ever dies so re-birth is a fallacy. A part of us - our body - is destroyed, & we begin that something died.

But then this is strictly my opinion. How is one to check who is correct ? There is no way until someone logs into yahoo answers from heaven or hell :)

rebirth ? Do you mean reincarnation or re-born again in heaven ? (a) Christians do not believe in reincarnation. (b) the Bible talks about going to Heaven but does not explain how a person is re-born.
