I feel a little awkward in asking this, due to all of the flatulence questions that have been popping up today, but if I don't ask, I might forget about it, so here goes.

Whenever I go to the bathroom to do Number Two, I always open the bathroom window, regardless of the time of year or whether or not the air conditioner is on. Then, after I'm done, I close the window back up (unless it was already open to begin with). In a way, it just seems cleaner (not sure if that's the best word for it or not).

Opening the window? Well, it isn't weird, unless doing so lends the chance to be able to see inside. If that is the case, the window should be closed, in all orthodox fashion.

Where I live you wouldn't want to be opening a window anytime between November and April because it's to darn cold. If you don't have an exaust fan, use a little room spray.

I don't open the window but it doesn't sound like a bad idea. I use Lysol afterward myself but I think you're idea might be better because I'm sure it's not good to be breathing aerosols all the time.

I only go number 2 in my own house. If I can't hold it, then I must be very sick to my stomach and not feeling good. So, if I'm at someone's home, I tell them I'm not feeling well and will have to cut the evening short.

I don't have a window in my bathroom.I just pinch my nose whenever I go #2.However, if I did have a window, I would also use it to my advantage and let the fresh air in.

I guess it is probably cleaner, or at least it won't smell that bad, but I don't really do it. I had never thought about that.
I just do my thing and wash my hands.
