most people end up drinking faster through a straw. So in that regard, you can get drunk faster that way. But drinking the same amount through a straw vs not thru a straw won;t get you more drunk.

Haha I have heard that before.. I usually drink from a straw because it goes down quicker. It works for me. I don't think there would be any other reason though.

it's not you get drunker, it's that when you drinking from straws you usually tend to take bigger swigs then when drinking from the glass. that's why as a bartender i always put the big straws in the glasses, so you'll buy more, thus me making more $

yes..... something to with the amount of liquid, eg alcohol entering system quicker through narrower route!!!! apparently.......
