BECAUSE he walked on water he is divine ....

How is that different than constantly referring to the Bible as proof of everything in the Bible?!

The Bible is composed of several books from many sources over a long period of time. You can use parts of the Bible which are proofs of other parts of the Bible though they be written centuries apart, and also across great distances....
Anyway...it's pointless to attempt to convince someone who does not have the Holy Spirit in their lives....
May He open your mind and heart to His Truth!

Does Chris Angel claim to be divine? Without Jesus in your life and faith, I'm sorry but I don't think your mind can even begin to understand. I do not mean that an insult! Best to You!

How will one find proff of anything if they don't seach the Scriptures for proff. Besides Jesus Christ walking on water so did Peter but only because Jesus called out to him. Now, how would one know this was true or not if they never read it in the Bible? So without the Bible for truth or no truth, man will never succed in finding the true answer. And of course this relates to your question.

Because Jesus already warned us of these things! And the Bible is the whole truth of God. We will know who deceives, and we will know when it is Jesus. Many things will happen before His return, but He told us what they would be, and what to look for when He comes. So, knowing that, we know that anyone "showing" signs and wonders, will not be devine (Jesus ) because He tells us how it will be when He comes back, and what signs to look for. There will be signs in the Heavens which no one on earth could copy, and then, there's Jesus, actually coming on the clouds. We don't have to go looking for Him. EVERYONE will see Him, and know who He is!

"Now as He sat on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to Him privately, saying, 'Tell us, when will these things be? And what will be the SIGN OF YOUR COMING, AND THE END OF THE AGE?' And Jesus answered and said to them ' TAKE HEED THAT NO ONE DECEIVES YOU. FOR MANY WILL COME IN MY NAME, SAYING 'I AM THE CHRIST', AND WILL DECEIVE MANY." Mat.24:3-5

"And then many FALSE PROPHETS will rise up and DECEIVE MANY." Mat 24:11

"Then, if anyone says to you, 'Look, here is the Christ!' or 'There!' Do not believe it. For FALSE CHRISTS AND FALSE PROPHETS WILL RISE AND SHOW GREAT SIGNS AND WONDERS TO DECEIVE, IF POSSIBLE, EVEN THE ELECT. See, I have told you beforehand. Therefore, if they say to you, 'Look, He is in the desert!' do not go out; or 'Look, He is in the inner rooms!' do not believe it. For as the lightning comes from the east and flashes to the west, so also will be the coming of the Son of Man be.
For wherever the carcass is, there the eagles will be gathered together.
Immediately after the tribulation of those days the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light; the stars will fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens will be shaken. THEN THE SIGN OF THE SON OF MAN WILL APPEAR IN HEAVEN, AND THEN ALL THE TRIBES OF THE EARTH WILL MOURN, AND THEY WILL SEE THE SON OF MAN COMING ON THE CLOUDS OF HEAVEN WITH POWER AND GREAT GLORY."
Mat. 24:23-30

I think that Kris Angel is probably practicing Kabbalah .. very simply put, the belief that because people are God's children we are capable of acheiving God-like qualities.. such as walking on water, walking through walls, levitation and such...
There is a book by Richard Bach called 'illusions'... it explores this theory through the adventures of a pilot and a reluctant messiah. Its not a book that forces religion down your throat - it just explores the idea - I think you might really enjoy it.

Peter walked on water (although he didn't do too well after a time) and never referred to himself as Divine.

The apostles cured the sick and raised the dead, and still are not considered divine.

There are things about that allow departures from the natural laws, that is why we call them supernatural.

However having the ability to harness these does not preclude divinity

Please dont' be offended, but the point here is that your reasoning is in error.

Maybe it's because it was not only recorded in which`ever writing that had been used/understood as being a source of communication..It may have been put away/preserved so that many will know some things that had taken place in which`ever ((e'ra)) "Being passed down"

u make an intersting point

but when i read in the bible that jesus walked on water and turned water into wine, i dont care if he really did all those things or not. i dont care if they were just tricks on the mind or not.. i really dont. because i am not putting my faith in the PHYSICAL being of christ, i am putting my faith in his teaching, his beliefs, and wat jesus stands for- the love for one another.

wat u are doing is trying to disprove the bible- and trust me, the bible can be disproven by anyone. stop trying to show how ur "smarter" than christianity and just read the book! do u think that i actaully believ that a boy named david literally killed a giant with a rock? no- the stories of the bible are not meant to be taken like that- the story of david and goliath is to show people that if you have faith in yourself, that you can accomplish seemingly immpossible goals.

Criss Angel is a bad example for divinity since we all know he is a illusionist.
