What do u want to know? Tuburculosis is still around.. My daughter in law had to have a mandatory manitu test before teaching school 2 years ago.. She came back positve 3x. She didn't have it actively, but had been exposed to someone who did have it actively.. She had to take a special med for 9 months to get rid of the bacteria that lays dormant in you and can suddenly become active someday if your resistance gets low.. You can't give it to anyone else if it's dormant in your body.. Only if you have an active case.. I wonder how many of us have been exposed and don't know it since our doctors never really perform that test as part of a physical. hmmmmm..

it is a chronic illness it is usually affect respiratory system but it can occur every where in the body ,causative agent is mycobacterium tuberculosis,patient may complain of loss of appetite ,fever,night sweat,weight loss cough ,dyspnea and bloody sputum,
it needs treatment with antituberculus agents for at least 6 months .

what about them? it's curable. people don't always have to be isolated if they get it.
