There is no evidence to support the existence of any god. Just because you believe and atheists do not believe that any particular god exists, it does not make it true. The truth is that no one knows, and that there is no evidence to support any god's existence.
Similarly, no one knows if the invisible pink unicorn exists. Your disbelief and my belief will not alter the probability of its existence one bit. Now, if this is so, should you believe in the invisible pink unicorn?
Perhaps your disbelief in the unicorn will affect your life, but it won't affect its existence.

A god's existence can only be affected IF everyone stops believing that it could ever exist.
Atheists aren't here to try because it's pointless, and it'll turn into infinite regress.
We don't need a god, so those who think they do should stop trying to convert us to believe something that should have died as an idea long ago.

I think that our belief or disbelief in God has no power to determine whether or not God actually exists. But, given the complete lack of verifiable evidence for the existence of God, I think that its a billion times more likely that God is imaginary.

Of course not. Four billion theists can't make God real either.
God's existence has nothing to do with what we think anymore than America existed even before Europeans knew about it or Atlantis didn't exist even when people thought it did.
Facts don't care about people's opinions.

As a theist I would say certainly not! I believe in objective truth in the sense of "the way things really are," and in that sense one's perception can't change reality. Now to an existentialist, who believes he creates his own meaning, God wouldn't exist if one doen't want God to exist. There is no "the way things really are," you make your own meaning.
So the answer to your question will depend on philosophical outlook, but if you believe there is "a way things really are" then you must reject the notion that your belief in something could change the reality of that something.

Personally I do not believe in any god. But if you were to make it a hypothetical and say I am wrong and that there is indeed a god, then my disbelief in him would make him no less real. Not believing in something that is real does not make it go away..... think of it this way... I'm sure you have seen those scary movies where the killer is coming to get someone, but instead of running they huddle in a corner with their eyes closed saying, "it's not real, it's not real"... they still end up getting killed.

Do you mean like in Peter Pan when Peter tells everyone that Tinkerbell will die unless we all believe in her? Does it "affect" your existence if I don't believe in you?
