Yes of course! Because, I myself as a dreamer, see that my mind mixes events that happens to me while I'm awake, with my believes of the Higher Powers, and makes that mixture into a dream.

No, common sense dictates god, higher power, allah or whatever name is given to him has more important things to do than mess with peoples dreams.
One thing that does affect a persons sub-conscious dreams are the conscious thoughts, decisions and actions they make on a daily basis. Further, during sub-conscious sleep and dreaming it may be possible to Vaguely remember experiences from former life times.

Yes, I get dreams from the Lord alot. He shows me things that will come to pass and they do. Also, He will show me danger to come in the future even before I know about them and they come. So, yes, God is very active in people's dreams.

My spirit guides and teachers sometimes communicate with me in this way. Sometimes the dream will take days for me to decipher.
