This is a GREAT! Healthy lifestyle plan! It is *so* refreshing to see someone with a healthy attitude about themselves and their lives. If you cut the calories to 1200 a day (no less) and you sweat during that 30 minutes walk, you should be losing about 2 to 3 healthy pounds a week which is perfect. If you adopt this eating/exercise plan as a full time healthy choice your weight will never be a problem. Believe me you'll really thank yourself as you get a bit older! I hope all the other people trying to starve themselves thin or looking for miracle pills, shakes or other effortless "magic" weight loss will see this and follow your example! Good job!!

Maybe.
Body fat is a funny thing.... What's your current BMI? What's your current fat percentage? How old are you?
Calories are ****BLAH - annoying things. Who cares! It's WHAT you eat, not the total calories. Make sure you're getting plenty of protein (for body sculpting), carbs (uh-huh! you NEED them to be healthy) and natural sugars and vitamins. Don't forget fish!
To lose body fat you'll need to increase your cardio a bit more. Try cycling 20 mins on "random hills" setting 5x a week. You need to be sweating (like dripping) to lose the fat.
Running is also good - how long do you run for? How fast do you go? The best thing is to use the gym treadmills, so you can increase the speed at intervals. If you do this, or run the beep test every day, you will definitely lose body fat.

yeah of course you will. but try doing more than that such as walking for an hour instead of 30 minutes and when you get home do some ab work and you'll burn it off faster. make sure you're making up for all of the good stuff you lose like WATER and eating healthy foods.

I think it is definitely possible, but if you want to do it quicker, you will need to cut down on calories, perhaps down to 700-900 calories a day. And drink loads of water. You will also need to lift weights to burn more fat.
