They believe that fossil fuels were made 5000 years ago by Adam & Moses Incorporation.

Then Satan used his tricks to prove that they were million years old.

No. We only use fossil fuel from about 6 to 7 thousand years ago. We believe because of Mt. St. Helens that canyons and rock strata can be made in a single day. We believe in the flood of Noah which provided your fossil fuel. We have trouble with radio metric dating and carbon dating. To be honest I thoroughly believe in the Word of God, the Holy Bible.

Fundamentalist believe that the process that transform organic matter into the petroleum that make up the world's various oil wells could have happened in 500 years and not the hundreds of thousands to millions of years that most scientific evidence and observations tend to suggest.

No , we use fossil fuels that were created by Noah's flood. All the dense tropical vegetation, human and animal matter were laid down by the flood and covered with tons upon tons of dirt and water. The intense pressure created oil and coal out of the matter. Scientists have created coal and oil and even diamonds in the laboratory by pressure. It did not take millions of years. With God all things are possible. Come to Christ!

Yes, but they think those fossil fuels were formed 6500 years ago. They actually believe that. They believe that it only takes 6500 years for a dinosaur to decay, fossilize and be broken down into petroleum. I know, I know, NO ONE can be that credulous, right? Wrong.

They believe that the fossils, coal, oil, and everything else was placed there by God.

That's the neat thing about their flimsy beliefs - whenever faced with a paradox or unexplained mystery, they can simply claim that God did it.

What's amusing is how much was attributed to the gods or God thousands of years ago. Over time, we learned about biology, chemistry, physics, astronomy, etc. and are able to explain things with reason and scientific observation. The number of things for which God is the cause grows smaller every year.

Yet there are many who insist on clinging to the belief in Him. I guess their lives would seem empty and purposeless if they didn't have someone watching over them.

Of course not. That wasn't from fossils, it was created by God, along with coal, gas and everything else, in one grand flash a short while back, just for humanity to use.

Some will take that literally and decide 1. I really believe that and thumb me down 2. I really believe that and thumb me up for it.

The rational ones will recognize sarcasm, whether thy agree with it or not.

no
they carry around Creation Science books that tell them the earth is not PROVEN to be Millions of Years old. It's just a scientific theory with lots of faith added to it. Faith there is no God because people do not want to obey him.

OMG! PLEASE don't tell me that you are yet another "scientist" that believes that "fossil fuel" comes from dinosaur remains!

FOSSIL FUEL is PETROLEUM, COAL and NATURAL GAS.

"Fossil Fuels, energy-rich substances that have formed from long-buried plants and microorganisms." and "Petroleum formed chiefly from ancient, microscopic plants and bacteria that lived in the ocean and saltwater seas." and "Coal is a solid fossil fuel formed from ancient plants—including trees, ferns, and mosses—that grew in swamps and bogs or along coastal shorelines." and "Most natural gas is formed from plankton—tiny water-dwelling organisms, including algae and protozoans—that accumulated on the ocean floor as they died."

Unless, of course, you ALSO believe that dinosaurs were either a plant or a microorganism.

So, which is it?
