Salaams Yes we can brush our teeth while fasting. I think everyone is being a a little extreme by saying we are not to sopposed to brush our teeth during fasting. Brothers & Sisters brushing our teeth during the day does not break our fasting--as long as we dont swollow the water & toothpaste. Nobody wants to eat toothpaste! Please, lets not get extreme and say that cleaning our mouths breaks the fast. We are sopposed to keep our bodies and mouths clean as Muslims. Allah loves those who keep themsleves clean.

I'm not Muslim but it's my understanding that you aren't actually swallowing the toothpaste so it should be ok. Also, you don't want to have a dirty mouth while praying. Clean hands, arms, face and feet. Why not clean your teeth too?

I do but without toothpast. I just use water. If you think about it, toothpast has taste, which makes it edible, so it doesn't make any sense to me to use it while u fast
