He confuses me to no end! Help! Are we just friends or is there something more?

I've been friends with this guy since the beginning of this year and ever since we first made contact, I think I've had feelings for him. I think he may like me too but I'm just not sure! Sometimes I'll turn around in class and catch him staring at me with his head resting in his palm and this faraway expression as if he's a million miles away! Then I'll smile at him or something and he'll quickly avert his gaze, like I caught him doing something he shouldn't have... That probably makes it sound like he DOES like me but he hardly ever comes to talk to me in class and has no problem with other girls. He knows I liked him at the beginning of the year but now he thinks I like this other guy. I'm so confused, please help! I really care about him and I never want to lose his friendship but at the same time, I want the confusion to end!

you need to talk to him about this issue. ask him if he likes someone and see where you stand. you have nothing to lose.
he might just be a little shy to talk to you.
your only going to find out by asking him.

confusion= communication! Have you told him how you feel? I know some guys don't want to mess up a good friendship with a girl! They are afraid it will not work out and not being able to be friends anymore. So just talk to him-and see what he is feeling!

Ask him out, or youll always wish you had. Just start treating him more like a boyfriend than a friend. And sometime, ask him who he likes. And if he asks you back, say something like, 'its a secret'. while kind of smiling at him. he'll get the message. Best of luck!!
