I don't know how this question got in photography, but....

You need to think about a significant event in your life, something that changed your life such as a death of someone you loved, a divorce, a health issue, a success of some kind, a religious realization. You will have to come up with that.

Write a short 3-5 sentence introductory paragraph. These were always the hardest for me.

Your next paragraph describes the event and mentions but does not explain why it was so very important in your life. That's what the rest of the essay is about. This paragraph and all that follow should be at least six sentences long, except for the conclusion.

Paragraph three describes what you learned from thinking about (reflecting) the event. What did you learn about yourself? What did you learn about life in general? What did you learn about people significant in your life? This as a matter of fact may spread into more than one paragraph.

Paragraph four, five or whatever explains how the even and your reflection on it changed your thoughts, your actions or your relations with others. How did it change your life.

Your last paragraph is a conclusion. Don't start with "and in conclusion". Your teacher will hate that. The last paragraph is a short one, maybe four sentences long.

Good luck.

Does this concern incident meters vs. reflective? I'd start with describing photos metered by each method.
