my old whiskey planter died from insect attack, shes been replaced, what have you done with rusty barrel metal rings that is crafty and decorative?

I used mine to make another flower garden circle.

If you have the storage space you could save them for when someone is giving away old barrel staves. Then you could make your own planter again.

Otherwise they are just rusty invitations to get tetanus from sharp dirty edges on the steel.

put the narrow sides together .... to sort of form a honeycomb type thing. Keep them together with wire....
prop them up in the garden as a decorative element ....
then plant a climbing rose vine under it and let it cover the rusted the rings.
Rust against the green and red of the rose will look beautiful.

if you have a sumwhat of an old barn you can hang them up for decoration!
