Did you know this? That since they have failed to pass comprehensive immigration reform cause the american people were so much against it...that the pro amnesty lawmakers are now trying to sneak it bits and parts of it as part of other really important pieces of legislation like military funding bills etc...that must be passed urgently. It is important that you do not sit by and let them get away with this. Call and write your lawmakers just as aggressively to let them know you will not stand for any amnesty of any sort and no guest workers of any sort. Plus complain about foreign truck drivers being allowed to drive in USA and bring loads from Mexico and Canada.

NEVER GIVE UP !!!!

No decent person commits a crime the very first second they enter a foreign country. The only reason illegals have no criminal record is because they have not been apprehended and charged. Amnesty allows for these indecent people to become citizens without having to wait and abide by the same rules as others. It is a "cheater's pass to the front of the line" if you will. It is a spit in the face to the hardworking law abiding immigrants who had the respect for our laws and did things the RIGHT WAY.

I have done this with my senator and congressman What is going to be necessary is to get out to vote when elections come up and do away with these pro amensty representatives that then will send a message that we the american people still have a say in the way things are done and we will no longer tolerate the decay of our country through the policies of big corporate proxies in government
VOTE THEM OUT!!!!

In the short term illegal immigrants pay into the Social Security system which is almost bankrupt.

They also provide recruits for the military.

The Development, Relief, and Education for Alien Minors Act, or DREAM Act, is part of the stalled package of proposals that many in Congress are seeking to resurrect. The proposal, applicable to an estimated 750,000 undocumented residents of military age, stipulates that those who arrived in the United States before age 16, graduated from high school, and meet other qualifications could immediately enter the path to citizenship in exchange for at least two years' service in the armed forces.

But not all of them pay taxes.

In the long term Amnesty Will Cost U.S. Taxpayers at Least $2.6 Trillion.

Tancredo, Ron Paul, and Hunter have the most conservative voting records on immigration.

Of these three, Ron Paul has the best chance of winning the Primary election.
Paul's campaign has almost 4 times as much money to spend as Tancredo.

Ron Paul has stated that he wants very strong borders and he was appalled that our government had taken border guards off of our borders to send them to Iraq.
http://www.lewrockwell.com/orig8/haman3.html

This is his six point plan:
Physically secure our borders and coastlines. We must do whatever it takes to control entry into our country before we undertake complicated immigration reform proposals.
Enforce visa rules. Immigration officials must track visa holders and deport anyone who overstays their visa or otherwise violates U.S. law. This is especially important when we recall that a number of 9/11 terrorists had expired visas.
No amnesty. Estimates suggest that 10 to 20 million people are in our country illegally. That’s a lot of people to reward for breaking our laws.
No welfare for illegal aliens. Americans have welcomed immigrants who seek opportunity, work hard, and play by the rules. But taxpayers should not pay for illegal immigrants who use hospitals, clinics, schools, roads, and social services.
End birthright citizenship. As long as illegal immigrants know their children born here will be citizens, the incentive to enter the U.S. illegally will remain strong.
Pass true immigration reform. The current system is incoherent and unfair. But current reform proposals would allow up to 60 million more immigrants into our country, according to the Heritage Foundation. This is insanity. Legal immigrants from all countries should face the same rules and waiting periods.

The NAFTA Superhighway might be another significant threat to American borders.

Excerpt from FAIR on the Dream Act amnesty scheme:

Senate Poised to Debate DREAM Act
Call Your Senators and Object!!!

This week, there have been increasing reports from the Hill that Senator Dick Durbin (D-IL) intends to offer the DREAM Act as an amendment to the FY08 Department of Defense Authorization Bill (H.R.1585). Debate of this legislation and the Durbin Amendment is expected NEXT WEEK! Yesterday, Senator Jeff Sessions (R-AL) held a press conference alerting the Capitol press corps to the growing possibility that the DREAM Act would be resurrected. Calling the bill "amnesty," he said, "We may be headed for another immigration battle."

The DREAM Act does two things: (1) it grants amnesty to illegal aliens who entered the country before the age of 16 and have met certain educational requirements and (2) it reverses current law to allow states to provide in-state tuition to illegal aliens while charging non-resident U.S. citizens out-of-state tuition.

The DREAM Act creates a three-tiered system to grant amnesty to illegal aliens who arrived in the U.S. before the age of 16.

Illegal aliens who are over 12 and are enrolled in primary or secondary school are eligible for a stay of removal.

Illegal aliens who have obtained a high school diploma or a GED, or have simply been admitted to an institution of higher education, are eligible for conditional lawful permanent resident status (conditional LPR status). There is NO CAP ON THE NUMBER OF ALIENS who may receive conditional LPR status, there is NO AGE LIMIT, and such status MAY BE EXTENDED INDEFINITELY.

Illegal aliens who have already obtained conditional LPR status under the act and have also completed at least 2 years of a degree program or 2 years in the military are eligible for legal permanent resident status (LPR status).

PLEASE CALL YOUR SENATORS NOW AND URGE THEM TO REJECT THE DREAM ACT!

To find YOUR Senators email go here:http://www.senate.gov/general/contact_information/senators_cfm.cfm

If you know your Senator, just look for their name, if you don't know who they are enter your State's name and their name will come up!

Yeah, I saw that next week they plan to vote on what they are CALLING the Dream Act, but that it would apply to people 45 or whatever - with no upper age limit.

I have to read it.
