If you insist on sleeping nude, then get your own hotel room.
If you decide to share the expense, put some boxers or something on.

I agree w/ most of the answers, ask. but not the compromises. If he's not comfortable w/u being nude all the time wear boxers/shorts when out of bed but take them off when you get in. (Not sharing a bed right?) Than you both are comfortable.
Why should you be uncomfortable sleeping,(w/boxers on) if he's not going to see you.
I've done this quite often when sharing a room with someone.
Always a good idea no matter what to have something handy to pull on quick though - never know when there might be a hotel emergency and you're out in the hall way. lol

Plan on sleeping in something like boxer shorts for at least the first couple of nights. Then, as the week goes on, if the opportunity comes up, ask him if he's got a problem with your sleeping in the buff. But don't force the topic on him - pay a lot of attention to the general vibes and see if an opening for it comes up.
One thing you might want to try: for the trip, buy a pair of boxer shorts to sleep in, with some really wild pattern/picture like The Simpsons, the Taz, Bud Light, your favorite sports team ... use your imagination and be creative when you go to the store.
Then, when you put 'em on the first night, if your roomie makes a comment about your boxers, that would be your opportunity to say something like "Usually I sleep in the buff, but I figured that this week I'd crash with the Steelers (or whatever)." That will at least open the topic for conversation, and hopefully it'll give you an idea about whether he's OK with your sleeping in the buff the rest of the week.
However: if you can't get a "read" on what your roomie thinks, you should just plan on sleeping in boxers all week. Hope that helps!

I rather you wouldn't do that even if that guy says it's OK. He might not want to offend you by saying "It's OK" but for all you know, he could be feeling very awkward and embarrass in the same room.
Common, it's only for a week. Can't you compromise and sleep in your boxer. If not, don't share room!!

I'd go for at least some boxers. Even if he says it doesn't bother him it probably does. Sleep nude when your with a woman.

I would find something tolerable to wear. Even if you ask and he says it's OK, he may feel uncomfortable in that situation.
Would it bother you if a guy in the bathroom walked up to a urinal and just dropped his pants and underwear to his ankles? It's unusual and so might annoy people.

Depends how close you are to the guy, like if you guys are buddies and you ask him if he's ok with it, then I wold say alright. But no matter who it is that you are sharing a room with you have to get their approval first, because you don't want to make it awkward for them, especially if you will be living together for a week.

No it would not be okay, it would be very inappropriate and discourteous to the other person in the room.
Its only for a week. Wear shorts.

Seems you dont have good manners. First learn them. You should atleast have some common sense about how you should behave properly when you are with others. You can do what ever you like when you are alone, who cares?
