Pack yourself some healthy nutritious lunches and dinners (snacks too) so that you have a healthy choice when you get hungry. Also, if you make yourself a personal philosophy of not eating the food at work (and don't start) you can get start out the new job with a plan. A good trick, too, is to drink a big bottle of water and eat an apple before you go to work. Keeps your hunger at bay, and thwarts temptation to graze.

It will really be very very difficult and tempting (especially at work) BUT this is where you have to stand on what you really like to end up: an obese person or a healthy chef. There will be certain rules to follow: let others taste the food you prepared, eat ONLY when you are hungry and eat veggies (especially organic ones) and fruits first before you eat your main dish and EAT enough NOT to be hungry BUT not bloated. That is the simplest no-nonsense day to day simple style no-fuss way of eating. On the other hand, why don't you become a wellness chef?

Oh, that can be hard. I used to work as a front-line cook at a delicatessen so I know how hard that can be.

You're simply going to have to find a way to not eat the stuff you're making. Try chewing gum, if you find yourself with an urge to eat something.

Good luck!
