Easily false. What many people may be against is the interpretation that comes from the bible and the fact that people worship Jesus instead of emulating him. He was a teacher, not an idol.

To be for or against some one you need to know them, it is not enough to say I am for or against. and have only hearsay knowledge of that person.
It's possible to know some one, but not know the full truth, that's why we study scripture and get knowledge that opens our hearts and minds to the reality.
Today many people profess to love Jesus and even worship him, but is that what he wants? There lies the problem, not knowing what Jesus wants, only doing what we want thinking we are right.
Read 2 Timothy 3:16 and then listen to what Jesus wants for he tells you how to get everlasting life. John 17:3
He also tells you the things needed, just ask questions and let the word of God answers them. Do not put your trust in the teachings of men. If you have questions then ask and see if the bible can give you the answer? gemhandy@hotmail.com

it's true. Jesus says it in the Bible. in life their are only two ways you can go. either you are for Jesus or for Satan. and if you are for satan then you can't be for Jesus. "No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and man", Matthew 6:24. man is representing satan.

In the Bible, when one of the Apostles complained to Jesus that someone outside their immediate circle was doing righteous work, Jesus said, "anyone who is with us cannot be against us".

I am generally ambivalent about jesus. Since I don't believe I the judeo-christian-muslim concept of god (but acept the possibility of a god of some sort), I don't believe in his divinity. But I don't consider myself for or against him, just like I am not for or against any other dead person.

Ur was gone by about 500 BC, so it didn't really have an opinion on the whole Jesus thing, as far as I can tell. You are asking about Ur, the Mesopotamian city, right?
