i dyed my hair black 2 weeks ago & the color doesnt look good on me because it is too dark. when's the next time i can dye my hair again ? i got a relaxer done about 9 months ago & i also got highlights 5 months before i dyed it black. i dont want to damage my hair & i just want to go to a medium brown color.

You can do it again after 2 weeks, until you get your color you want. The good thing is that your hair is dark, so when the color fades, it wont look as bad as some one with lighter color hair.

Well hopefully it will start to fade. If not you can go to one of those stores open to the public like Sally's or something and by a agent that "strips" your hair. Apply that and see how light it gets. It may be Multi-colored so while your there pic up that level of brown your tryin to achieve and apply that. I suggest you leave your hair alone after that for at least 6 months.

I did this a year ago!!! After frying my hair I had to cut it, and all I did was dyed it brown from black. I went in to a place have them fit it, they turn me away and said don't ever dye your hair black. So please wait as long as you can. People will tell you two weeks but with black wait longer! try using so Vo5 hot oil two day before you dye.

Oh mann, i did the same exact thing. Just let it settle for about 2 weeks then you have to bleach it. But bleaching is extremely bad for your hair, i did it 2 weeks ago and now my hairs all broken. But i use alot of products so it doesnt look bad. Unless youd wanna do it.

I'd go to a good salon and consult with a professional colorist. Less risky than doing it at home, at least this time around. Goldwell salon color products are very good.

U SHOULD WAIT!! that stuff can seriously damaged my hair ... just be patient so when u do it u dont ruin ur hair..give it a month or so!!

you can dye your hair 48 hours after. so its okay for you to dye it now.
