OK, so the North West passage opens another trade route with Asia? Well if you're thinking of China then it may well have collapsed by that time under a cloud of smog, disease and revolution, having made too many nik-naks for the West.

As for a cruise, will you be able to afford it? What with the neccessary economic and industrial 'restructuring' after the Chinese collapse. The hurrcanes beating up the Gulf coast. The oil supply drying up as the economy finally runs out of puff. Meanwhile the midwest runs out of food, due to terminal soil erosion and freak weather.

No Global warming isn't all doom and gloom: There will be less niavity about our cushy western lifestyles and it will 'rebalance' the world population.

Here in Alaska you can find sea shells along the mountains. Because at one time the oceans were higher (from melting ice) and they covered this part of Alaska. It happens. In Colorado and Missouri the same sea shells are found. The whole North America was covered by seas. So we must be in a Ice Age to have as much ice and snow that we have now. And the next cycle will be warm weather, then probably another ice age. And there is nothing we humans can do about it. It happens.
