Hate to have to agree but I think many dentists are greedy. Where I live, NHS denistry is a mess. It is virtually impossible to get NHS treatment.
I have had to pay a fortune for poor quality private treatment and now need to get this put right at my own expense.
If the UK tax payer funds training for dentists then I think the dentists should work for the NHS for a set period of time OR repay the cost of their training.

Yes because they can make huge profits by going into private dentistry. You only have to compare with Spanish dentists who do wonderful treatments at half the price of UK. I would not go to Poland or anywhere in Asia though.

NHS dentists say their cost limits prevent them giving good treatments but they play on that and just earn as much as they can with as little as they can get away with. I know, as I have suffered as a result and am now having to pay thousands of pounds to right the results of negligence by so called 'dentists' in the NHS. All students should have to repay the whole of their training costs if they go into private work and not NHS. Why should we pay for them to make huge profits.

Thats also because of the payment rules and regulations within the NHS, or some are still happy to work for the NHS but also carry out private treament to balance out their income.

We used to have a society that cared for the workers. Now we are all out to make money. We condemn socialism and it's everyone for themselves in a greedy and uncaring society.Only a drastic change in government will get us out of this immoral nightmare.

Do you have a job?

If so why don't you start looking for a similar job that pay 1/2 of your current pay?

If you're talking the talk you should also walk the walk.
