Unique art gift is the best present.
There is a web site –photoartomation.com ( http://www.photoartomation.com ), they convert a digital photos into paintings of different art styles and print them on canvas.
My friend sent them a picture and they turned it into beautiful piece of art. I saw it and it really looks good.

As a boss my self I just want a card. If my people give me a good days work that is gift enough.

He's your boss, get him to give you one again, and again its called the job you have. Just do a good job everyday I am sure that would be the best gift of all and personalize it everyday with a smile, we all have one of those. :)

Don't buy your boss anything unless it is a close working situation.
I've has secretaries give me something $10.00 or less and that is okay. I would feel weird if an employee gave me anything aside from a card if he or she did not have daily contact with me.

I make my boss his favorite home made cookie. He looks forward to them every year. He likes them well enough that he does not share.
