Why do all these skeptics keep asking us to prove God and the bible? Why not ask:Prove the Koran and Alla? Why not prove that there is NO God?Prove Evolution?
After all, when people find bones and fossils, like my dog does, the ONLY thing we know is something died.

There is no proof to the bible, god, the Koran or Alla. There is proof for evolution. Obviously you are completely ignorant of the fact that when you find bones it doesn't just prove something has died. Have you never been in a single Biology class? Evolution has mountains of evidence behind it and I appreciate you don't believe in it because of your faith but don't rule it out and be ignorant because you know nothing about it. I'm 14 years old and I know more than you. When you ask this kind of question get your facts right.

Yeah, what I really like are all the "pictures" of dinosaurs that show them as big scaley lizards. The fact is, I don't think they have ever recovered a dinosaur scale. All they have are the bones. For all they know, they might have been covered with fur. They don't have a clue what they looked like, just like they don't have a clue why they all died suddenly, just like they don't have a clue how we all really got here.

All they have is a few sketchy details and a whole lot of assumtions in the attempt to glue all of the pieces together (only the holes between the pieces are so big, it's gonna take more than a lot of "glue" to hold it all together).

You have to be absolutely nuts to think that everything we have here today is the result of some cataclysmic "accident." We should be asking them, "where did all the super-compressed matter that resulted in the "big bang" come from?

You see, they think they are soooooo smart, and that they have it all figured out, but their theories have more holes in them than swiss cheese. And I do hope that they all get an opportunity to read this response.

Well, you're right in that we know something died. However, because the earth has many layers of dirt on top of other layers of dirt, some of which are clearly demarcated and exist across the world (due to large events that laid down a layer across the world), it's possible to see that layers lower down are older than layers higher up. (Think of soil being washed down a river to a lake, year after year after year, so that layer upon layer is laid down on the lake bed.) So things that we find in a lower layer are older than things we find in a higher layer.

Also, all life on earth is carbon-based, and carbon decomposes at a rate which can be measured. So, if we know the carbon content of something at this moment in time and compare it to something else from the past, we can see by how much carbon the past item has lost how old it is likely to be (within a several thousand year range).

So we can actually know a lot more about fossils than that something died.

As for being asked to prove your faith, why do you need to? If you believe it, that's fine--as long as you give others the same courtesy and don't require them to believe exactly what you do.

Yes,those bones affirm that Some thing is dead and further tests can tell us the kind of animal it was.it's age, gender, likely time of it's death and much more.Do you have any clue ,hint or a lead for the existence of a divinity, say a God, or something akin to it ?There is nothing to prove about Bible,Koran and such other religious texts as we all know these Exist. The onus of proof is upon people who say that something exists and it's there or here and not on others.Like.you have to prove to the world that YOU exist and nobody has to prove that you are non existent, because the former answers to the later.Note:-We can try to defend the indefensible only at the cost of our credibility...

Even when Jesus Christ walked the Earth, His own chosen people rejected Him, even with the miracles, and all the good He showed them...Anyone who rejects the truth, will have to deal with God and Jesus when the time comes,...and don't forget, to those who question, it is Satan working through them to reject and deny God and Jesus..that is why, because it has been prophesied..and the best thing to do, is keep your faith strong, because we are living in the last days, and those who stay strong to the end, will be rewarded...we will always be persecuted for loving Jesus and God, for it says in the bible, not to worry when they admonish you for your faith, and hate you...they hated Him before we got here..science has proven nothing...they have their 'theories.'..all which have proven nothing..none of them can recreate life, which they all claim to do..if they were so smart, they could..and if there were no GOD, then with their infinite wisdom, it should come easy to them..but they can't and never will..they can clone, they can copy, but they will never find the way to actually create and breath life into someone..think about it

Skeptics have cause to be skeptics, with so much confusing ideas of religion bantered about by differrent interpretations that blinds truth, everybody talking at once, anxious to get their voice heard above all others, does nothing to promote Christianity. Action speaks louder than words.

Greetings,
Ezekiel 33:23-29.
Because they do not believe there is a God, They are covered with sins all over and so they are blind. And hence they are confused. But as God encourages his own people not to loose faith, but surrender their faith in the hands of the Lord.
Peace Be With you.

Good question: When I was an atheist, there was always a spark of doubt. What if I was wrong, and there was a Creator.

So, I always presented my views in low tone, and anyone who adamantly state that evolution is a fact, has not researched the facts.

Shalom, peace in Jesus, Ben Yeshua.

Because Institutions of Higher Learning (what a joke!) have systematically attacked Christianity and indoctrinated their minds-full-of-mush students into believing this garbage. Most of you attackers come out of a post-christian cultural situation in which blaming Christiasnity for everything is acceptable and politically correct. In fact, bigotry against Christians (and especially Catholic Christians) is one of the last acceptable prejudices in America. Insult a homosexual or a Muslim, and you've commited a hate crime. Insult a Christian and you're a hero at UC Berkeley. These attacks are better proof than anything else I kinow of that Christanity is the true religion. Why else would the world attack it so hard?

They don't demand the rest of us "prove" anything becuase we don't inform them how stupid they are by not believing. I don't give a damn what atheist believe or not. I don't knock on thier door, insist my creation story be taught in school or incorporated into law.
It's easy to respect someone who leaves you alone, which is what I do.
