Can I surmise that you think your family is born again. I tend to think Christians, who are comanded to love even enemies, should love a spouse enough to stay together for the family.
We Christians are adopted into His family. We're all brothers and sisters, with GOD as our Father/Mother Creator.
So the answer is yes for Children of God (and "no" because God's love should make a way for "real" Christians to stay together)!
When I was young, we thought our parents would devorce, but they loved us too much, and it never happened!!!
May the peace of God, which passes all understanding, comfort you in the storms of life on this sin-cursed planet.
Blessings, Michael
