You have to remember that once you are born into the Catholic religion, get baptised, go through confirmation and partake of your first communion, you are in their books FOR LIFE. You can go and become a part of another religion, but you won't see the support from other churches that you will see in the Catholic community. Once a Catholic, always a Catholic.
This should not stop you from choosing your own religion, though. If you feel that you are not being 'fed' enough by the church you are in, find another that helps you to grow and find that truth you are seeking.
Catholics are more into the sacraments, this is something a lot of the other religions don't teach. Pentecostals are scripture based and don't dwell on the sacraments. They also believe that anyone can partake of communion, from the smallest to the greatest, so long as they understand the purpose of communion. They also do not believe in transubstantiation. To them communion is only symbolic. Baptism is not a requirement, neither is confession before a priest. Other religions are not nearly so structured.
I, myself, am not sure if one religion is better than another. It all depends on what you are seeking in your quest for the truth.

If you were baptised a Catholic, meaning you received the Catholic Sacrement of Baptism, by the mercy of God and in the love Christ, your soul received an indelible mark of grace.

You will always be a Catholic, whether or not you reject the One, True Faith of Christ.

Before you convert, I suggest you take some time to really explore what Catholicism is all about in depth. If you've never taken the RCIA class, that's a really good place to start.

As Christ said, you should "count the cost" before doing anything.

You have the ability, yes.

I converted to Catholicism and only wish I'd been there all my life. So it's difficult for me to understand why anyone would leave. I can only guess that you do not know or truly understand the faith you were raised in. Sad.

Hiya , good question.

¨is it okay to convert to another religion?¨

That depends on what religion your are going to.

Is the new religion a religion that continues to teach pagan doctrines like hellfire , the trinity and the immortality of the soul ..?

If so , then you are just changing form one Satan inspired organization to another that isn't really following the truth in the Bible.
