Most religions talk about God creating life in terms of man and other things found on planet earth. If life in any form was found elsewhere on our universe how would religion explain it? Are there any provisions existing in the various religions for life other than on planet earth? or would the religion be rewritten to accomodate these new facts?

christians and muslims will try to convert the new life forms by hook or crook.the buddhists will send dalai lama to attract the aliens to the peaceful serenity of buddhism.the hindus have always known that there was life in other planets besides ours. so they will carry on with their life.

I would be excited. I believe God created life here and he may well have created it elsewhere. I would see life on another planet as another wonder of Gods existence.

Wel, since most religions teach that God created everything, most would accept that life as God created.
