I've been invited to a group interview for 1 hour! Does anyone know what might happen? Please, no more role play!

well if it is asda..you usually get a maths sheet to complete on % and stuff, and group work like building a house with cards and the person next to you introcues you...just make sure you give many views, ideas and opinions etc and you will pass

You have to 'win' against the others being Interviewed .. most likely it will be 'fill in the form' type of thing .. but they will be watching out for who is most 'friendly'' with other applicants (who can get along with others, who is approachable etc) ..

Be a bit "business" like .. ask others sensible questions and help others fill in their forms (offer to lend a pen, tell them the date ..whatever) .. & do it all where you can be noticed (those who hang around at the back, never making eye contact with others and never 'intereacting' will be overlooked) ..

Smile a lot & make the occasional joke .. but don't over do it ... acting up (too much) & making (everything) into a joke will get you noticed, but for the wrong reasons :-)

If you get one of those 'speak to the person next to you and stand up and say what you have learned' type things, NEVER 'do the other person down' .. always look for something positive to say about both of you .. for example, "like me, Fred has spent a year with the VSO helping 3rd world flood victims rebuild their lives - in his case, in India" .. rather than "Fred took last year off and wasted it in India"

NB> It helps if you turn up in River Island gear and have obviously been shopping there recently ... (you might even recognise one of the Interviewers !).

Basically a panel of several people take turns asking you questions that's about it.
