im an oriental girl 20 yrs .my bf is 23 yrs.i know him for 2 years.we do love each other.my mom knows about my love.the problem is my family refuse him because he is not rich.plus im studing medicine.but he is not in any collage.but he is studing to be in a good collage.do i do the right thing to love him and not leaving him?coz i cant.what to do?plz tell me.coz we really love each other i cant leave without him.what do u think.help

If you really love him, why are you letting what your family thinks stand in your way of being with him?? If you feel this is meant to be, then do it. I did. My family didn't approve, but my heart knew what it wanted. Now 2 years later, we're still together and my family has come around. Prove to them that your love can last, with or without the money.

Love does not come from riches, education, beauty, size or anything but from the heart. Your parents cannot pick a man for you. Make your decision individually. You are both still young so as time goes by, things will shape up well for both of you. For now just be in love - DEEPLY

First of all, you can live without him.
Second, it is your life. Your parents are important and I'm sure they're simply saying what they believe is the right thing for you, but you need to make decisions on your own.
If it is true love, then who cares what profession either of you has. Just don't allow him to change or have a bearing on your goals.

i think its your decision, not your families. im sure that your love is true, and if your studying to work in medicine then you will earn plenty of money alone :) let your family know though that you are thinking strait, and that your happy with him right now. they would never want to make you unhappy im sure, but let them know (even if it isnt true) that you are thinking clearly and will leave him if you become unhappy. this will satisfy them hopefully. just dont leave him! love is a terrible thing to waste!

Unfortunately, love does not always come with a huge bank account. You have to make a decison. Do you love him enough to struggle through life if it becomes necessary?
