One of the key symptoms of panic disorder is worry about the next attack. But ironically, it is usually worry or stress that brings it on. Then you worry that it's getting worse, which makes it worse, then you worry that it's getting even worse again!
It's a bit of a vicious cycle, but here are some suggestions of ways you can break it. Not all will work for you, and i wouldn't recommend doing them all at once! Just try what you think will be helpful.

Breathe. Make sure you are taking slow, deep breaths. Remember that even though you feel your heart beating fast, you're perfectly ok. It will slow down soon when you get your breathing relaxed. Often people breathe too fast when they're panicking and that causes the heart to try to catch up!

Distract. Focus on something less stressful; remember a beach holiday, think about what you'll eat for dinner, or chilling with friends. Build on it, think about all 5 senses of your distraction- not just how it looks, but also how it feels, sounds, smells, tastes- the more complex the thought, the less you will think about anything else.

Stay in control. There's no option here, because you ARE in control. You just may not have totally realised it. YOU decide how fast you're going to breathe, and how you're going to respond to the signs your body gives you. Get in tune with your body, get used to telling it "NO don't be silly we're going to do things my way".

Another popular distraction is to try to flex every muscle group in your body, one group at a time. Start at the toes, work your way up your legs, thighs, torso (remember front and back), arms, neck, face and head. You can divide them into smaller subgroups, whatever works for you. Hold each group flexed for the count of 10 before moving onto the next. By the end you'll be thinking "what panic attack?"

See a doctor. They're there to help. They can prescribe medication which can help you get a handle on things, and can refer you to psychologists or psychiatrists depending on your individual needs.

Homeopathy is crap. It really is. Take it from a scientist. It's simply an expensive placebo effect, you're just as good to take sugar pills- they're cheaper.

Hope this was helpful!

I was told once by somebody very knowledgable in the field that the reason your body experiences anxiety, depression, panic attacks has a lot to do with your serotonin levels. Usually when your serotonin levels are low, that is when you have feelings of anxiety, depression, or panic attacks. The key thing to do is to find a way to naturally increase your serotonin.
-- stop to smell something you find enjoyable. Breath in the smell and just focus on that.
-- listen to your favorite music
-- Stretch…move… breathe deeply
-- Remember a time when you were good to you – and repeat it; take time for yourself
--Exercise
--Take a nice soak in a bubble bath.
--yoga

Above all, you want to concentrate on slowing down your breathing by breathing deeper and from your diaphragm. And also concentrate on slowing down your thoughts.

And to answer your questions above, yes.. I believe that you can experience symptoms of a panic attack again just by worrying it will happen again. Focus on the steps above to clear your mind. It will take you awhile to really experience the benefits of these exercises. I would also reccommend that you should get to the root of what is causing your panic attacks, and resolve it.

Good luck to you.

I really do hope this helps. :)

The most useful thing I've found is distraction. I'll either concentrate on controlling my breathing - which is a good indication that you're alive - or start counting or doing math in my head, but I like math so maybe that one wouldn't work so well for you. That gets me thinking about other things until I'm out of the situation, since my panic attacks are from social anxiety.
