The invasion of Iraq was a mistake and it has cost many more lives than Hussein ever thought about. Now the country is in ruins a civil war going that could spread to other county's all because America has to play police of the world.

Yes he could have, he was having people slaughtered. I do think the world is better off without him, even if we had to loose some men to get it done. And only about 5000 US troops have died as a result of the war. There isnt an exact number for Iraqi casualties. I know it isnt an 'only' but compared to other wars, that is a very low number.
My husband is in the military and had he have been killed before we found hussein, I would not have considered his death a waste, now since we have found and killed him, i would. If we were after osama, who i dont believe is dead, i wouldnt consider his death a waste. i believe we need out of iraq and need to focus on osama.

Take a look at the facts and if you are honest you would say that Saddam Hussein was a much bigger killer of the Iraqi people than the war with children being the number one victims.

Not only could he, but he did.
Saddam Hussein was a megalomaniacal, paranoid despot who thrilled in killing his political opponents and perceived enemies. Do some research into his al-Anfal campaign, and compare the casualties there with the casualties as a result of Operation Iraqi Freedom. We still have to kill ten times more Iraqis before we even begin to approach Saddam's death toll.
Now go find a rock to crawl under until you morph into an intelligent creature.

No!
Actually before the war our blockades resulted in 1 million Iraqi deaths with 500,000 being age 5 and younger.
We have killed more than Saddam ever though of killing!
But even if he did, we put him into power, we gave him arms, we gave him money!
When all is said and done it will always remain that Hussein had nothing to do with 9/11 or terrorists!

Dude, seriously, are you lost?
Every heard of the 8 year war between Iraq and Iran? Where nearly a million Iranians died. How about the testing of chemical weapons on innocent Kurds in northern Iraq? Or was Saddam playing?
Seriously dude, research something before asking questions..
WOW!!

it's not that he could, but he DID actually. just that until the US (and NOT just them, but many other countries) invaded Irak, nobody showed the horrors happening there.
and about the US invasion, if it started we would have to be morons to believe that a war can be carried out without any civilian or military deaths. i think it is a more simple way to describe war: many people die.
