Whoever did the microchipping will have filled out a form with the aid of your OH. They should then send it in to get your pup put on Petlog or other international database. When they register your pup they will send a document to you with all her details on as proof of registration.
If for some reason you do not recieve this telephone them as it could be that the paperwork got lost and they just need a photocopy of the paperwork you should have been given by your OH. Dont think this is your registration document , it is just a copy of the form you fill in for the application.
You really need to talk to your OH to get the whole story before taking any action.

That's a quality concept!... Getting him microchipped when he gets neutered. Nonetheless, 6 months is too younger to get neutered. Neutering puppies earlier than the age of 1 raises their chance of bone cancer. Wait unless after one. Then get him microchipped at the same time.

The dogs details are now in a central computor base ..The dogs name and address are now recorded..If lost the dog pound or vet will have a scanner, They will sweep it along the dogs back and the scanner will pick up the chip..The scanner will read a number code, that code is phoned into a central base and they in turn will match this number code against your dogs details i.e Name and address..

In most cases there is paperwork that you need to fill out and send in to the microchip registry for the microchip you had implanted.

There is a form to fill in - unless the people who microchipped it have done it. Your OH needs to give it to you to fill out. Or call vet and ask.

you will get a form,so wait for him to come home and give it to you.then go to the council and register your dear puppy,so all the numbers are available at the pounds, and most the time you dont cop a fine if puppy gets lost.
