I am using Boots at the moment and only have 200mb. I have uploaded about 75 pictures and am at halfway full. I have about 4000 pictures and want to have them somewhere safe incase anything happens to my PC. I will be putting them onto disc, but want the backup of another site. Help please?

It looks like you are looking for backup solutions rather than displaying/sharing them which is what sites like Flickr/Photobucket/Zoomr do

Mediamax is free and has 25gb storage
http://www.mediamax.com/

but it is designed for sharing; a better backup solution would be run Mozy (free 2gb service available) or Carbonite in the background - both are trustworthy and secure backup solutions

the initial backup may be very slow as it builds up your archive; subsequent backups will be much quicker as any changes are monitored, especially if you are backing up a special folder, say "My Pictures" only.

If your photos are extremely valuable and you are looking for a pro solution, then you can't beat Protectmyphotos - it does exactly what it says on the tin

As I am a Google fan, I suggest you Picasa Web Albums @ http://picasaweb.google.com/ This is the fastest, and has great functionalities. All you need is a Google Account (you already have one if you have a Gmail address).
I recommend using the Firefox Universal Uploader (https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/4724) so that you can easily upload thousands of photos to Picasa, Flickr, etc.
