Canada allows gay marriage. Canadians have more freedoms than Americans. If 9/11 was about Muslims hating certain freedoms, why wasn't Canada attacked? And I know some of you die-hard fright-wingers will bring up that foiled attempt at an attack in Canada a few years ago, but think for a minute: that was *after* Canada sent troops to Iraq.
How many Muslim bashers here are willing to recognize the obvious truth that 9/11 happened because of our interference in Middle Eastern affairs? That it happened because of our unfortunate, blind support of Zionism?

um were Canada the peace loving neighbours to the north Why would anyone attack us really. Country's dislike America and Americans and love Canadians after September 11 Americans were told to pretend to be Canadian even(why they would insult us like that is another question)

Canada doesn't have troops in Iraq. Canada has troops in Afganistan. If there are Canadian military personalle in Iraq, it's because of a situation that commonly occurs, the Americans needed help because they're not so bright!
You are right though, it's unfortunate that so many people ignorantly blame Islam. Muslims, in a sense, are fast becoming the world's new Jew.

Yes, it is because of our involvement in the middle east. I think it is not just our support of Israel but that certainly plays a large role.
But that is not to say our involvement is necessarily wrong. It is to simply say that we are reaping the consequences of our involvement. But what would be the consequences of non-involvement? That is the question that must be answered.
