Sure there are, I'm not sure why you are lonely, isolated and without friendship. so I will list several scriptures for you in different categories. You can use the ones that you need now, and save the others to help comfort others, if the occasion arises.

EXPERIENCING TRAILS BECAUSE OF ILLNESS:

Rev. 21:4,5 "God will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will ourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.' And the One seated on the throne said: Lool! I am making all things new.' Also he said write because these things are fithfula nd true.'"

2Cor. 4:13,16: "We too exercise faith...therefore we do not give up, but even if the man we are outside [our physical body] is wasting away, certainly the man we are inside is being renewed from day to day."

FOR PERSONS WH O HAVE LOST LOVED ONES IN DEATH:

Isa. 25;8,9 "He will actually swallow up death forever, and the Sovereigh Lord Jehovah will certainly wipe the tears from all faces... And in that day one will certainly say: 'Look! this is out god. We have hoped in him. Let us be joyful and rejoice in the salvation by him.'"

John 5:28,29: "Do not marvel at this, because the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out.....

John: 11:25,26 "Jesus said to her: I am the resurrection and the life. He that exercises faith in me, even though he dies, will come to life; and everyone that is living and exercises faith in me will never die at all. Do you believe this?'"

FOR THOSE DISHEARTENED BECAUSE OF INJUSTICE

Ps. 37:10,11 "Just a little while longer, and the wicked one will be no more; and you will certainly give attention to his place, and he will not be. but the meek ones themselves will possess the earth, and they will indeed finr their exquisite delight in the abundance of peace."

Dan. 2:44 "In the days of those kings the God of heaven will set up a kingdom that eill never be brought to ruin. and the kingdom itself will not be passed on to any other people. It will crush and put an end to all these kingdoms, and it itself will stand to times indefinite."

FOR THOSE HARD PRESSES BY ECONOMIC PROBLEMS

Isa. 65:21,22 "They will certainly build houses and have occupancy; and they will certanly plant vineyards and eat their fruitage.they will not build and someone else have occupancy; they will not plant and someone else do the eating....the work of their own hands my chosen ones will use to the full."

FOR INDIVIDUALS WHO ARE DISCOURAGED BECAUSE OF THEIR OWN SHORTCOMINGS:

Ps. 34:18: :"Jehovah is near to those that are broken ar heart; and those who are crushed in spirit he saves."

Ps. 103:13, 14: "As a father shows mercy to his sons, Jehovah has shown mercy to those fearing him. For he hiself well knows the formation of us, remembering tht we are dust."

Psalm 68:6
"God sets the lonely in families.
he leads forth the prisoners with singing;
but the rebellious live in a sun-scorched land.

Two of the greates examples of loneliness and feeling isolated and in need of friends is reading all of Job. It had everthing and was left with nothing. Please read all of Job.
The other greatest example would to read parts of John and Luke, where it tells about the loneliness of Jesus Himself as He prepares for what is to come..............His pain, isolation and ultimately, His horrible death on the cross for me and you.
P.S. I am in the same "boat" as you..but remember Jesus is always with us forever. +
Peace in Him

The psalms, the sermon on the mount the Lord's prayer( Jn 17) and more I'm shure. Let your FIRST friend be Jesus. Through HIM, God will be the source of your JOY!

God truly desires to be our best Friend. We can also ask Him to provide other friends for us too.

Go to this video clip, it is based on many Scriptures. It is very comforting. I'll put in the link for the text version as well.

Actually any of them and all of them. John the Baptist lived by himself in the wilderness and ate locusts for food. Jesus was alone for forty days while He fasted.

We are never truly alone when we have Father God, the Holy Spirit and Jesus in our lives.

Praying for you.

Well that's the whole damn book!! That's the demographic it latches on to, people who feel lost or need a crutch, read chicken soup for the soul instead, more fulfilling, less make believe.

+ Psalm 25:16-17:

Look upon me, have pity on me,
for I am alone and afflicted.
Relieve the troubles of my heart;
bring me out of my distress.

+ Psalm 142

A maskil of David, when he was in the cave. A prayer.

With full voice I cry to the LORD;
with full voice I beseech the LORD.
Before God I pour out my complaint,
lay bare my distress.
My spirit is faint within me,
but you know my path.
Along the way I walk
they have hidden a trap for me.
I look to my right hand,
but no friend is there.
There is no escape for me;
no one cares for me.
I cry out to you, LORD,
I say, You are my refuge,
my portion in the land of the living.
Listen to my cry for help,
for I am brought very low.
Rescue me from my pursuers,
for they are too strong for me.
Lead me out of my prison,
that I may give thanks to your name.
Then the just shall gather around me
because you have been good to me.

+ With love in Christ.
