It doesn't work. He parted the Red Sea via Moses, and withing 30 days, the people spoke of stoning Moses and returning to Egypt. They began complaining about the way the miraculous food that 'appeared' each morning tasted.
"The hated manna!" It seems they missed their gourmet delights from 'home'.

I don't know. I am going into the medical field and there is not a day that goes by that a miracle doesn't happen. And whether that miracle was from the hands of God or just the hands of a skilled doctor, that is something I haven't decided yet. The dog and pony shows are out there, but it still hasn't got me to believe either way.
My best friend is a preachers daughter and is graduating this December with a degree in religion. She plans on traveling overseas to do missionary work. I admire her for working so hard for something she believes in but no matter how much I open my mind, I cannot commit to her way of thinking.
I think it is because I have seen a lot of 'bad' Christians that have given me a bad impression of the religion crowd. Even my friend says that churches are a long ways away from what they should be. I do believe there could be a higher god, but then again people are always looking for a higher up. We have bosses, principles, mayors, governors, presidents- the only thing higher than that could be the creator of the earth.
One day I will know. Hopefully I will have made the right decision by then. But I'm not going to say I believe 'just in case' when I actually don't believe. If He is real, then He will know the truth.

It is not a matter of convincing people of certain facts. When we hear of God, we are both powerfully attracted and powerfully repelled. We are attracted to God's love and repelled by God's authority over us. We can't have it both ways so we make a decision to seek God or to reject God. We pile on evidence after we have already made our decision in order to support that decision.

A dog and pony show? No.
Create two human beings, who lack navels and DNA, and allow the medical community to test and verify these deficiencies...that would be a start.

No, because God doesn't like people who want to see a dumb show like that.

Nope, i'd be fine w/ one ocean split in half or my tap to pour merlot instead of dirty city H2o. Or just one little inkling of fact. Anywhere. One thing. Physical evidence. Waiting, *jeopardy theme* nothing? Really? Okay then.
