im meeting my date's parents tomorrow on our way to our first date, i am 16 years old. I need any advice you could think of and that would help SOOO MUCH!!! thanks alot

Well, you should be charming and polite when meeting her parents, that's for sure. It will def. impress both her parents, and your date =]
Just be yourself, and be respectful!!!
Buying flowers for your date or your date's mom is a really smooth move too =P
OH, and no low riding baggy jeans! And keep jewllery to a minimum!! And don't you dare say "yo" or "whats up" OKAY you want the parents to know you're not a bad influence on their daughter!

Of course, be polite. Don't overly praise them- don't be an Eddie Haskell. You can compliment them on something about their house that you like. In some ways, the less you say, the better- just don't be tight lipped. Say "thank you", and to dad, a "yes sir" isn't bad. If they ask you about school and the future, be confident. Yes, I am looking forward to this year. Yes, I plan on attending such and such college. You'll do fine. The fact that you are asking shows you care. As a dad with two daughters, that matters.

Just be polite and friendly. Shake their hands when you meet them. Don't talk too much, as you might say the wrong thing since you are nervous. Tell them that it was a pleasure to meet them, and that you will take good care of their daughter and have her home on time. They will be impressed by that.

Look sharp Mark, remember the first impression is the lasting one, be polite and have good eye contact, firm handshake with the Dad, do not use any slang or foul language. If you do this it will be a success, that is unless she is pregnant or something, then a phone call will have to do. just kidding ;-) Good Luck!

well first it is always a good gesture to take flowers for your date and her mom or some gift doesnt have to be flowers, but a gift..
Parents always look at how a guy dresses so dress like if it was the most important day of your life not like if you were going to go out with your buddies...
Be poliet and always look at the parents...DONT LOOK DOWN OR AROUND....
To bring the parents to a notion stare...at them...not in a mean way but a nice way
EYES R THE WEAKNESS....so be active..
i mean that be ready because parent always seem to ask questions...SO BE PREpAREd

relaxing to be yourself is the tricky part if overly concerned over the impression you wish to create. But essential if you are sucesfully going to do so . Treating their daughter with the utmost respect and care is all they are really looking for so if you concentrate on that which will be easy if you like her . you will sail through the parent test with flying colours. ok. you're a chinese? nvm. so what you need to do is to impress her parents. that's you're main goal. you can do so by telling her parents your achievements but do it in a humble way. prepare answer for the qeustions :what are you're intentions with our daughter, why do you think you love her...LOVE IS A CHOICE. always remeber that. if you love your girlfriend, then you chose to love her.well, that may come in handy. ok what else?..hm..just be honest and be gentleman all the time. And the most important thing is RESPECT. you need to show respect to her parents, but still, try to act as who you really are.

1. No inappropriate clothing. (Big turn off)
2. No excessive jewelry.
3. Pay attention to their customs and preferences, (for me, it's no shoes in the house)
4. Relax and don't try too hard
5. Remember to be polite and remember to smile
6. Thank them for letting you go out with their daughter.

if your partners happy for you to meet her parents why are u worried she knows them better than you and has got no problem you meeting them
i know what i felt like at 16 1st time always hard easier next time

Tell them your intentions with their daughter. Tell them that you are a well rounded lad and want only the best for their daughter. If your love is true it will come back to you ten fold.
