63 days. Yes you'd notice, they get a swollen belly any mammary gland, you'd feel this just by running your hand under her.

Take her to a vet to check. If she isn't pregnant, or not too far gone, get her spayed. If she is pregnant, get her spayed once the kittens are weaned.

There really are far too many cats in the world already, there are thousands dying in shelters. Don't add to the problem by bringing more kittens in the world to take up needed homes.

If the cat does end up having kittens, have a long chat with a vet about what to expect from the pregnancy and birth and how to look after kittens properly. BEFORE she has them. And feed her kitten food throughout pregnancy and lactation!

the gestation period for a cat is about 62 days. it depends on how many kittens the cat is carrying, if it is only 1 or 2 you may not notice, if it is more than that you would probably notice the bulge in the cat's lower belly. usually a pregnant cat looks like she swallowed a grapefruit that is stuck just in front of her back legs and the rest of her is still slender. the nipples also get larger and sometimes more pinkish.

The normal gestation period in cats is 58 to 66 days.

Physical signs of pregnancy can begin to show at 4 weeks.

Look for the following:

at 2 weeks: Palpation (feel around in her belly for noticable lumps)
at 4 ½ weeks: Mammary enlargement
at 6 ½ weeks: Lactation
at 4-6 weeks: Abdominal enlargement begins to show

If you cannot wait, you can find out early with the following:
at 1 ½ weeks: You can do an ultrasound
at 2 ½ weeks: You can do X-rays
