Am I right in feeling that he has no etiquette?

My boyfriend and I are about to move into our own place tomorrow. The problem is that for two weeks he's told my friend that we're going to use her friends truck to move. We've set up pickup times and everything. Not even a few hours ago he told her where to meet us at. Then, a couple hours later, he tells me that he doesn't want to use the truck anymore. When I asked him why, he says that he doesn't want to pay her and her friend anything, even though they asked for nothing, and that it would be cheaper to use a rental; which is a) not true and b) IMO selfish, especially when I told him how I felt about it, and he said "f***k what [I'm] talking about."

Now, aside from all of that, I want to know if I am right in feeling that he has no etiquette, and therefore wrong because he made all these plans and canceled at the very last minute, or am I overreacting and I should just submit to whatever he wants to do?

We live together now, and while we do have our issues we still are trying our hardest to work things out. I think he's wrong to the fullest on this one, but there's room for doubt. If I am right, though, what do I do about it?

i think you should rethink your plans to move in together....he's starting to show his true colors ins't he? if he's treating you like that now and you aren't even living together yet, do you really want to find out what he's going to be like when you're locked into a place together? there's alot of us out there that would treat you with a little more respect and not be an a*ss and canel plans that were made and obviously, if you're going to use a friend's truck, they had to make accomodations for this also, so he's just a disrespectful a*ss all the way around......dump him now before you wish you had later.....

If my bf cursed at me like that, he would not be my bf any longer. What he did was disrespectful to you. Apologize to your friends and tell him to hit the road if your opinion is not important to him!!!
