I never wore shoes at all to school until I turned 15!
And I still go about barefooted, a lot.

No, definitely not. Feet are more like hands than any other body part; does anyone think hands are an obscenity? The biggest reason *some* feet look and/or smell so bad is ill-fitting shoes. Bare feet that are normally bare look and smell fine. And it's not dangerous; a single accident may happen like an answerer above describes, but I've never had any accidents like that and I've been barefoot everywhere for over ten years, nor any cuts from glass... I have however had my finger caught in the door pretty bad when I was younger, but no one suggests we should go through life wearing gloves all the time. In general, feet are a *lot* stronger than people who rarely if ever go barefoot think.

No, of course not. That's just silly. A lot of people wear flip flops (myself included), which shows your feet. I don't think that's an obscenity at all.

only if you have a foot fetish and are into that kind of thing...perhaps we should wear foot underwear...but then again someone might be offended by that as well and feel that is obscene...personally I worry about my feet being hygienic, looking healthy and just in case the foot fetish police is out on patrol I am looking good enough to lick!

I think it's quite okay to me. but..wouldnt ur feet be injured from the road? and pavement?

It depends, if a person has average feet OK, cute little feet and painted toes great; however, Froto Baggans feet, with monkey toes and claws for nails heck no. Basically,If a persons has feet that they can gut a fish with no no no.

It depends where you are. At the beach it is perfectly proper. In a fine restaurant you should wear shoes. Also at your job you should wear shoes. Does this answer your question.

No I don't but its certainly not healthy for you.. btw some establishments just won't let you in if you are barefoot.. but obscene.. no !
