People say god cannot interfere when something awful happens such as a child drowning in a car, or burning up in a fire, because of the whole free will thing, and yet you always hear religious ppl thanking god for much less important things such as helping them have a child after years of failed attempts, or winning the lottery or helping them get off drugs. My point is, that if he isnt going to help innocent children, what in the wold makes you people think he cares whether or not you ever have kids or any insignificant thing like that? Free will goes both ways right?

Believe what your "soul" tells you and avoid following others like a bunch of mindless lemmings.

Hiya , good question.
Ecclesiastes 9:11 says ¨--time and unforeseen occurrence befall them all¨.
This means , accidents happen , both to the good and to the bad.
As we are in a sinful state , it is guaranteed that sooner or later will will die.
For some people it is sooner, for some it is later.
So if we are for whatever reason in the wrong place at the wrong time , or make some erroneous decision we can lose our life early.
Thats just the fact of being imperfect creatures.
God will not prevent such sort of tragedies from happening.
We are sinners , and sinners will die.
The age at which this happens is inconsequential.
God on the other hand doesn't bless people by letting them win the lottery.
God promises to help people to cope with their life's problems , but not ever take them away.
This is of course only true if a person is REALLY doing Gods will and living by HIS standards.
If a person is alienated from true worship of God by following pagan doctrines like the trinity for example then the almighty God Jehovah will NOT help them with their problems.
He will not listen to their prayers , he will not help them with their trials.
Because they are choosing to follow the teaching of demons , and not that of God.

there a story i once had read, there was a barber who was talking to a costumer. and the barber said to the costumer that there is no God. for if there is a God there would be no suffering on earth. but because the costumer did ot want to argue he just finished his cut and went out. as the costumer went out of the shop he saw a tattered, unkempt, long haired man. after this he went inside the barber shop and told the barber that he does not exist. but the barber answered telling that he exist because he had even cut his hair. the costumer ask that if he exist why the that there are long haired, unkept persons. and the barber answered proudly that becaise that man never entered his shop.the costumer said that so as the persons who doesnt call on God.

God write laws (likes ones that inspired Newton: Gravity) and keep it runs whatever happens
so, if we start from one of God's pre-defined point, we actually (at that time), limits our final point.
But, as believes in karma. If you doing it right, God may helps you lever the rail-switch.

What nonsense - I have never seen an innocent child. I can confirm they are born rebellious and curse as soon as they can vocalise it.
