Pregnant cats sometimes go off (usually not far) to find a good protected place to have their babies. Unfortunately this is not always in your house, it might be in the neighbors shed or behind a bush or any place the cat might find good for giving birth. You should check with your neighbors (maybe drop a note in mailboxes on your street) and let them know she's missing and that she's pregnant and ask them to have a look around their yard and house (maybe they keep a window open to their basement?)

Good luck finding your cat (if she did ran away)

Have a good day :)

If they do not have a spot to give birth (warm cozy quiet area) they will go and come back after birth and after feeding babies, until their eyes are opened and they are free to walk on their own. Babies are too small to walk, see, or find their way when newly born.

A pregnant cat will look for a SAFE and sheltered place to have her kittens. Our cat had her kittens in a closet.

They sometimes go away to give birth. If they survive, they may come back with the kittens. Next time please spay your cat. Mating and having babies is very dangerous for her, she can get diseases, or even dies in a fight or during birth.

They will come back only until the kitten are half a months old.It is possible that they will come with their kitten. When they come back fed them well cause they lost lots of nutrients during that time
