I got up early one morning and rushed right into the day.
I had so much to accomplish that I didn't have time to pray.
Problems just tumbled about me, and heavier came the task.
"Why doesn't God help me?" I wondered. He answered, "You didn't ask."
I wanted to see joy and beauty, but the day toiled on, gray and bleak.
I wondered why God didn't show me. He said "But you didn't seek."
I tried to come into God's presence; I used all my keys at the lock.
God gently and lovingly chided, "My child, you didn't knock."
I woke up early this morning, and paused before entering the day;
I had so much to accomplish that I had to take a little time to pray.

Have you ever asked, seeked or knocked?

Yes, but thanks for the reminder. Sometimes we get way too busy and we need to slow down and spend time in prayer and in His written Word.

Most Atheists have extensively studied many religions and their accompanying texts.. But alas we find that all the asking, seeking and knocking in the world does nothing when you don't believe the fairytale to start with...

Yes! I have ask, seek and knock but I find out it is better to Brood, Demand and Cursed. It sure is faster in getting my request.

If I truly feel that the help I need must come from a higher power, I ask. Otherwise, I feel it is my duty to go about my life without turning to that power for every little thing. Sure God (or whatever it is) has plenty to deal with, things more dire than my issues. :)

Oh, I really like that! And it rings so true too.
We don't take the time to communicate with God, yet we expect everything from Him.

And the question is what?

Yes Spam tastes good when fried in grease and served with corn grits.

Be mindful, every step is sacred.
