marijuana test?

I get hair tested every 3 months, mainly for marijuana (because that it was i was caught with). I heard about marinol, which are synthetic thc pills apparently. If I were to do these pills, would they show positive for thc or marijuana in any way?

I doubt that any type of medication will be able to affect a hair drug test. When drugs are ingested by the body some of the molecular byproducts are stored throughout the body. Since marijuana is fat soluble it has the tendency to reside in fat cells of the body and that's why it shows up much later after use in a urine test.

As for a hair sample, the byproducts of drugs also enter the hair. I have read about certain shampoos that claim to strip the hair of these particles but since the molecules are within the hair itself it will probably not do anything. As for the pills, hair is a nonliving tissue so if it is already in your hair, it's going to stay there.

First of all, for everyone answering by saying.... "I dont think pills will help you pass a test" he's not asking if marinol will help you pass a drug test, he's asking if marinol will CAUSE a failed drug test.

As for the drug test, I'm pretty sure that marinol would cause a positive cannibis result, as they are both cannaboids.

The THC would show positive. If you're taking Marinol then you must have a prescrption for it and be prepared to show that you're taking it under a doctor's supervision.

Can't help you here. But why do you have to get hair tested every 3 months for possession of marijuana? I never had such weird test done to me when I got caught with possession of marijuana. Odd..
