as far as I know communism's principles are about the struggle between the working class and those who have the production means in the society.

The right question must be "could a person be communist and Melli at the same time?"
It has nothing to do with being Turkish.

Your definition of communism is the most shallow. Anyway think about it this way, nationalism can be a device to be used to protest blood-sucking capitalist-imperialist powers, in that sense yes you can be both nationalist and communist. Read Trotsky's "The Balkan Wars" and you'll see what I mean. Didn't Stalin rely on nationalism -oh Motherland Russia!!- in the second world war? lol well you may argue how communist Stalinism was but still...And did he not release some priests from prison for them to *bless* the army? My point is, you should not be too lost in theory.

communism is a great thinking, it all means well but unfortunately it does not work....tried and tested..

in china it works cos they are Maoists and nationalists also communist same time...

well if you are asking for a Turk being a nationalist and communist same time well that is not possible as you will be taking the rules of Mao or Lenin or Stalin or pure marks but none of them are Turks.......its desinged for any nation yes but then again it doesnt work for all..

We have something desinged for us Turks only and thats called Kemalism...

what the h...l is 'melli'? If you can explain maybe we can help you.
The lady who answered first needs to study some history and politics. Turks never colonised Greece. Colonisation is something else.

I'm really confused. Is this an Army attacking the Turkey section or just one really lonely, bored guy trying to stir up some kind of anger about where his parents lived?

I don't think the person who responded above is Turkish. Is there some sort of sabotage going on here?

i'm TÜRK!
i'm socialist (scientific socialist).
i'm patriotic.
i believe that the peoples of "Mazlum ülkeler" could be socialist and patriotics! (they could be capitalist and patriotics, too)
i don't accept nationalism ! this is a emperialist attitude .
after capitalism convert to emperialism , socialism will be terminated to the communism .
