i have a slow connection and i cant wait to download a big thing as it takes a lot of time with a slow connection. i want such a software which can help me pause the download and again resume it later at any time i want just like when downloading from google pack.

I'm sorry about your slow connection, But if I understamd your question a syou say it, there is NO SUCH THING that I am aware of.
First off many downloads come from other than the Originating Company, and there can de as many a s4 or 5 different sites available to download a program.
Second. I have always been taught not to ever ever interupt a download in progress for any reason. There is a good possibilty that doing so will cause lost data packet transfer, and thus not give you a complete download. This seems to be the major problem with interupting There are several more reasons but in a nut shell I am not aware of any way to stop and go again on a download.

Personally I use gigaget (http://www.gigaget.com). It's free software and has a lot of unique features, like searching for alternate sources for files, profiles for saving different kinds of files to different locations, it's highly customizable, and integrates easily (as well as separates easily) from your web browser. I often use it when I find websites with hundreds of pictures I want and just tell gigaget to download all the files on the page and then filter the files down by file type and web address in the box that pops up. It saves me tons of time. Lots of other programs around that do a good job too, like Download Accelerator, FreshDownload, or if you use firefox there's a dTa (downThemall) plugin that can work just like that (but I've noticed this plugin has a hard time with large numbers of files, 8000+). Just my 2 cents on the subject, feel free to use or ignore any part of this :D).

try this site www.phazeddl.com and look for download accelerator manager they should have the full version of the program it's probably the best one out there. just follow the instructions to crack it
