I was painting today for about 2 hours and I guess when you paint...your suppose to grip the paintbrush tight or a certain way? Whatever well while I was painting, I gripped it while having my Index finger on top and I was constantly pressing down. Right now my wrist and finger feels pain. And it even hurts to type this hah. Any solutions? I think this might go away the next day or so right?

Yes it should go away. Take tylenol/ibuprofen/naproxen,etc to help with the pain and any swelling there may be. Also using bengay or icy hot might help. Even just alternating hot and cold compress can help. If the pain persists call your doctor.

I bet the discomfort does go away. Sounds like you basically just over used the wrist and finger while you were painting. Might try an ice pack to reduce any swelling that you might have.
Keep a watch on this. Could be the start of carpal tunnel. COULD BE...I'm no doctor only know the pain endured from this myself.
Good luck and hope you feel better soon.

This injury could last for weeks...
I would go see your doctor for a possible Carpel Tunnel Syndrome problem...
I had that a year ago and they found it with x-rays...
I got a shot in my hand with pain medicine and a few weeks later the pain all went away...
It has not come back either...

Avoid excessive alcohol. Alcohol may worsen peripheral neuropathy.
