I'm to the point, now, that I would never consider getting just one kitten. A playmate is a must!~ Ideally, getting them together, preferable litter mates, or kittens fostered together in the shelter system take all the fuss and worry out of the "getting to know you" phase, which can be long, dramatic, and in the case of much older cats set in their ways, occasionally not too successful . I would definitely plan on getting another, but I would wait until you have some vacation time, when you can be handy to give lots of love and attention in both directions. There are lots of resources regarding adding a second kitten or cat into the house hold, but one I found helpful was "Cat vs Cat: Keeping Peace When You Have More Than One Cat" by Pam Johnson-Bennett. It is full of ideas on how to introduce a new cat into the household, how to observe their interactions and interpret the "hidden" meanings behind them, and lots of tips on what you will actually have to provide for two cats that I would not have realized were so important (True, I was introducing a rambunctious young male into the home of a 15 year old female that had been fighting cancer for several years, so I had quite a few hurtles to manage) but in your situation, I would imagine that an addition would not be difficult, probably very welcome, and this kind of information would probably cover any possible glitch you might experience. Just make sure you select a second kitten that seems to be a good fit with the personality of the little guy you already have, and be prepared for lots of fun! Good Luck!

The official answer is no, but the real answer is yes, but very carefully. Just keep an eye on him/her, and if s/he really tears into the wing with abandon, I would really watch to be sure s/he doesn't ingest bone. Because chicken bones can really harm cats. If the degree of caution required makes you uneasy about feeding wing, just pull the meat and knuckles off the wing, de-bone it, and feed that. The skin is good for them, and the gristle won't hurt them. But the splintery chicken bones can definitely hurt them if not chewed by a very thorough cat.

You really shouldn't give cats "people food." You don't know what will upset their sensitive tummies. Like others have said, bones may splinter, the seasonings might be too strong., etc.
Why not stick with Friskies and you eat the chicken wings!?

The meat would be okay-- but the skin is probably covered in a lot of spices and salt that aren't good. And no animal should be allowed to have chicken bones, because they splinter and can cause all kinds of problems.

The meat should be OK. But don't give cats or dogs the bones. Chicken bone splinter and can puncture their intestine.

As long as you cook them. Cats are more able to handle chicken bones than dogs, because they actually chew them up before they swallow them-unlike dogs who swallow them after biting them once and then they get stabbed by the splinters.

The meat would be fine, might give her an upset tummy though. Don't let her crunch on the bones, they can splinter.
